Tindle Newspapers is led by Sir Ray Tindle, who began the group with £300 demob money given to soldiers at the end of the Second World War.
Through launches and acquisitions the group now has more than 220 titles, with an audited weekly circulation of more than 1.4m and turnover above £50m.
A strong believer in “ultra-local” journalism, Sir Ray’s empire is mainly comprised of weekly titles in the south of England.
More information can be found on the company’s website at www.tindlenews.co.uk.
