A new crafts magazine for young girls has been launched by regional newspaper publisher DC Thomson. Ruby Loves is aimed at girls aged eight to 12 and the first issue has now hit the shelves, packaged in a paper bag

Best-known as the publisher of the Beano, DC Thomson and Co employs more than 2,000 people and is based in Dundee.
