Regional publisher Johnston Press has teamed up with a cab booking service that will allow its website users to book taxis online.
The partnership will see a white-labelled version of web and phone app minicabit integrated into JP’s UK event site WOW247.
It will allow online users to compare and book cab quotes for listed events using a WOW247 branded web app, powered by minicabit.
Steven Thomas, general manager for WOW247, said: “Minicabit is the latest example of how Johnston Press are enriching WOW247’s local and national event offerings with relevant, innovative services across web and mobile.
“Online cab booking is a logical next step and so minicabit’s strength as the single, UK-wide digital entity to enable this opens up some compelling opportunities for our online audiences.”
