The Lancashire Telegraph couldn’t resist the following headline after a psychic announced the cancellation of a show due to take place on its patch next month.
However as long-standing HTFP readers will know, it isn’t entirely new, a similar incident having been duly reported by Plymouth daily The Herald in 2010. Still, no harm in recycling a good idea!
Shouldn’t it be ‘unforeseen’?

Can they not even spell “unforeseen” right? No wonder the LET is losing readers in droves and has had the worst sales decline in regional papers. Sloppy.

Such an old gag it’s not even funny any more. Local newspapers taking the p*ss out of themselves is pathetic, pointless and will only hasten their decline…

I guess neither paper can spell ‘unforeseen’…
