Almost all paid for newspapers across Northern Ireland saw a sales fall in the second half of 2012 according to the latest ABC figures published today.
Only two paid for titles in the region increased their sales year-on-year in the period July to December 2012 – the North Belfast News and the Newtownards Chronicle.
The only other titles to put on sales were all free newspaper, including the Belfast News, the Community Telegraph, and the Lisburn Echo.
The big daily and Sunday titles all saw significant declines with the Belfast Telegraph circulation down 7.9pc and Sunday Life down 11.9pc.
The ABC figures for the mainland regional press will be published on Wednesday (27 February.)
