A former regional journalist is launching a new programme aimed at helping businesses to get better at public relations.
Justine Halifax has created an online module, entitled “How to be your own PR pro”, which aims to help firms get the most out of PR.
Justine, pictured, spent nearly 17 years with the Birmingham Mail, Birmingham Post and Sunday Mercury, before launching her own firm, Angel Media.
She has also worked as a freelance feature writer for the Leicester Mercury’s business magazine.
Discussing her new project, Justine said: “Often companies are surprised to see where they are going wrong with their press releases during my talks and workshops.
“But with more than two decades’ worth of first-hand experience sitting on the other side of the journalist’s desk, I know what PR package will tick their boxes and what will go straight into their virtual bin.
“The module is designed to enable businesses to tailor their approach so they stand out from the inbox crowd and reap ROI to heighten their brand profile.”
