A footballing triumph has prompted a regional daily to launch a new newsletter.

The Liverpool Echo has launched the Blood Red newsletter, aimed at fans of Liverpool FC.

The newsletter’s launch comes after Liverpool clinched the 2024/25 Premier League title with four games to spare.

The Echo already runs a regular podcast, also called Blood Red, for fans of the club.

The newsletter will be curated by reporter Keifer MacDonald, pictured.

In a piece announcing the launch, Keifer wrote: “Each edition of the Blood Red newsletter will deliver a comprehensive overview of the best and most important Liverpool FC stories from the last seven days.

“From exclusive interviews, press conference round-ups, transfer rumours, analysis and much more, Blood Red will curate a list of essential reading into an easily digestible newsletter so you don’t have to trawl the internet for your latest Anfield fix.

“The newsletter will be free of charge and aims to be grow Reach plc’s already loyal Blood Red audience from our successful podcast.”
