A local football title overcame national opposition to be named the UK’s best sports newsletter.
Norwich City FC fans website the Pink Un won the accolade at the 2025 Publisher Newsletter Awards for its Pink Un+ newsletter.
Launched in 2022, the Pink Un+ newsletter delivers daily Norwich City news and insight to Canaries’ fans inboxes.
It was selected as the winner from a group of 10 shortlisted sports newsletters including products from the BBC, The Times and Sunday Times, and the Financial Times.

The Pink Un is published by Newsquest as a companion sports website to he Eastern Daily Press.
It was joined on the Best Sport Newsletter shortlist by another Newsquest subscriber product, Kings of Anglia+, a dedicated Ipswich Town football club newsletter by the East Anglian Daily Times.

Other Newsquest newsletters recognised in the shortlists included The Reading Dispatch, shortlisted for Best Newsletter Launch, Best Local and Community Newsletter and Best Individual-Led Newsletter while the Glasgow Wrap was also shortlisted for Best Local and Community Newsletter.
