Publisher expands marketing agency after group takeover

Natalie CoughlanA regional publisher has expanded its marketing agency by opening two new offices following the group’s takeover.

National World has announced the expansion of MNA Digital, formerly a property of the Midland News Association, into the North of England.

The Wolverhampton-based agency, which employs 30 people, has opened new offices in Preston and Sunderland, where National World titles the Lancashire Post and Sunderland Echo respectively are based.

The move follows National World’s takeover of the MNA, publisher of the Express & Star and Shropshire Star, in September last year.

MNA Digital offers services including search engine optimisation, web design, social media and creative and branding services.

Natalie Coughlan, pictured, National World head of marketing and client services, said: “We can’t wait to broaden our reach and provide local support to businesses in the region.

“With the demand for digital marketing services, especially in the wake of evolving digital and technological advances, MNA Digital aims to be at the forefront, empowering businesses to navigate the digital landscape with confidence and achieve growth to all those who need it, no matter the business size, or scope.

“We understand that navigating digital marketing can be a daunting task for businesses of all sizes, and knowing where to start and what’s best for you can be confusing, and we aim to assist in the best way possible.”
