Police are investigating after a former newspaper office was hit by an arson attack.
The now-derelict building in Galashiels, formerly home to the Border Telegraph and the Peebleshire News, was targeted last Sunday.
The alarm was raised about a fire at the High Street office, which has been empty for around 10 years, at around 6.45pm.
About 20 firefighters tackled the blaze.
Police Scotland detective constable Ashley Black said: “The fire is being treated as wilful and our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
“We are asking anyone in the area to get in touch if they saw anything suspicious.
“If you have private CCTV or dash-cam footage that could assist with our investigation then please also call us.”
