Readers urged to help ‘shape the future’ of city daily

A city daily has urged readers to help “shape the future” of the newspaper.

The Norwich Evening News has launched a search for new members of its reader panel who will meet with editor Richard Porritt and senior staff to provide feedback.

In a piece announcing the search, the Evening News said it was looking for people with “a passion for the Fine City and an interest in local journalism”.

It added: “With our printed newspaper still going strong, our online offering has taken an important step in the last year through the launch of our app.

“As readers support our journalism as we adjust to modern demands, we are keen to ensure that we are offering the content and services that are wanted.
