Thirteen regional news titles are in the running for an award designed to honour the top local media campaign over the past year.
The annual Making a Difference award sees members of the public vote for their favourite campaign from the past year to mark Journalism Matters week.
Industry trade body the News Media Association, which organises the award, has published a shortlist of 13 campaigns to choose from.
They include agenda-setting investigations, campaigns and scoops from regional and local news brands, demonstrating the power of original news content.
To vote, go to https://newsmediauk.org/making-a-difference/ and browse the shortlisted campaigns, clicking on ‘Read more’ to find out more.
When you have selected your favourite campaigns, highlight them in orange by clicking on them and go to ‘Submit your vote.’ Voting closes at 5pm on 1 November.
