Independent publisher launches fresh Facebook ad boost bid

Neil WebsterAn independent publisher has launched a new initiative aimed at helping local advertisers increase their presence on Facebook.

Tindle News has launched advertising packages on the social network which will run for a minimum of four weeks at a time.

It comes after the group introduced iServe, an online platform delivered in partnership with technology firm Viztrade.

The platform allows advertisers to create and place targeted digital advertising on more 30 Tindle titles.

Tindle commercial digital officer Neil Webster, pictured, said: “As the trusted local publisher, we can now help customers put together a promotional campaign on Facebook that is optimised and targeted based on geography, audience and campaign requirements, all aligned with our local masthead brands.

“It is important to us that we offer professionally created and managed campaigns that extends client advertising on to one of the world’s most powerful social media platforms on a localised basis.

“We have run campaigns across four regions so far with pleasing results so we are hoping to help many more local customers across the country as we roll out this service.”
