In addition to her Evening Telegraph role she was also previously head of the magazines division at the newspaper’s publisher DC Thomson and news editor at sister title the Aberdeen Evening Express.

She said: “I’m looking forward to working with Engage clients across a number of sectors to support their business growth objectives.

“It’s an exciting challenge to be working with clients to build their brand and enhance their public image through a strategic approach.”

At engage, she will team up with business director James Donaldson, himself a former chief sub-editor at the Evening Express.

James said: “With a passion for planning and creating impactful content, Lee is a valuable addition to Engage PR as we continue to deliver high quality work for ambitious clients. We are thrilled to have someone of Lee’s capability on board.”
