Lisa JarvisA director specialising in entertainment content has left a regional publisher to go freelance.

Celebrity and entertainment director Lisa Jarvis has said farewell to Reach plc after 14 years with the company and its forerunners.

Lisa, pictured, began her career on the Kentish Times in 2003 and served as the title’s chief reporter before moving four years later.

She subsequently moved to the World Entertainment News Network, serving as the agency’s news wire editor until moving to New magazine in 2008.

At New, Lisa held roles including senior writer, news editor, assistant editor and deputy editor.

She had held her most recent role since 2020.

Posting on Twitter before going freelance last month, Lisa wrote: “Today is my last day at Reach after 14 years on the celeb mags.

“A new – slightly scary – chapter as a freelancer awaits.”
