A director has resigned from his role at Reach plc after becoming chief executive at market research firm YouGov.

Steve Hatch has decided to step down from his role as non-executive director at Reach plc following the move.

Steve, pictured, had served on the board of Reach and its forerunner Trinity Mirror since 2015.

He will officially leave the company following its annual general meeting on 3 May.

Reach chairman Nick Prettejohn said: “I would like to thank Steve for his commitment and outstanding contribution to the board during his tenure as a non-executive director.”

Steve previously served as CEO of WPP-owned media agency MEC.

Since 2014, he has been head of Facebook owner Meta’s northern European operations.
