A series of weekly newspapers are seeking a new editor after the incumbent resigned.

Newsquest has launched the search for an editor for its South London titles after the departure of Will Harrison.

Will, pictured, was responsible for titles including the South London Guardian series, Richmond & Twickenham Times and the Surrey Comet during his tenure.

He was appointed group editor for South London in 2019.

At that point, he added the News Shopper series, which covers parts of South London and Kent, to his portfolio after its editor Simon Bull was made redundant.

It is understood Will is now working in a local government communications job in London.

HTFP has approached him for a comment.
