A company which provides puzzle pages to regional newspapers has launched its own free city-wide publication.

Sirius Media Services is now producing Puzzle Xpress, which is distributed to commuters across London each week.

It was distributed at the capital’s main central railway stations for the first time last Monday.

The A5 full-colour magazine offers puzzles including crosswords, sudokus, quizzes, word searches and number puzzles.

Sirius Media Services chief executive Karen Slade said the magazine was a “natural progression” for the puzzle company.

She added: “The mainstay of our business has always been the supply of puzzles to the regional and national press and whilst this is a completely new enterprise for us, the principles remain the same.

“We love what we do and I hope that comes across in the quality of the publication.

“The feedback we have received from consumers and advertisers is very positive, we hope to grow the project quickly and I am looking forward to watching it develop.”
