Chris_Kelsey_400x400A former daily journalist has been appointed editor of a Wales-wide business publication.

Chris Kelsey, who was deputy to the business editor of the Western Mail and Wales Online, has been taken on to edit Business News Wales.

Chris, pictured, left the Cardiff-based Mail in April after 13 years with the paper.

During his time at the Mail, he edited the regular Business in Wales magazine and the weekly Country and Farming supplement of the Western Mail, and was previously editorial coordinator for the Go Green environmental supplement.

Chris has joined Business News Wales alongside new editorial assistant Beth Perry, who has recently completed an MA degree in international public relations and communications at Cardiff University.

Said Chris: “I am delighted to be working at Business News Wales. It is a matchless resource providing a daily digest of up-to-the minute news and comment to businesses in Wales.

“I look forward to working with the highly skilled and professional team as they seek to keep Welsh businesses abreast of the latest developments on the business scene, and in particular with the newly appointed editorial assistant Beth Perry.”
