Northern Ireland’s regional daily and Sunday newspapers all experienced declines in circulation of at least 5pc during the first six months of 2016.
According to the latest figures for the island of Ireland, four Belfast-based titles saw a drop between January and June this year compared to the same period in 2015.
The Belfast Telegraph remains the province’s most read daily newspaper, with an average circulation of 41,912, while its sister newspaper Sunday Life was at 38,355.
The circulation of the Irish News was down 4.6pc, while the Belfast News Letter was down 6.4pc.
