A reporter on the Dundee-based Sunday Post has been named as the new editor of The Scots Magazine.
Robert Wight, left, is currently lead reporter at the DC Thomson owned title and has spearheaded a number of campaigns as well as writing widely on rural issues.
Commenting on his new role he said: “The Scots Magazine is an iconic Scottish brand. It is a great opportunity for me to drive the editorial of a unique magazine and I look forward to this exciting new challenge.”
Also promoted is Eileen McGinley, right, who becomes editor-in-chief of girls’ magazines, including Animals and You, Shout, The Official Jacqueline Wilson Mag and their brand extensions.
Said Eileen: “I am delighted to be heading up the girls’ magazines team. We have a range of creative, inspiring and entertaining magazines and I look forward to working on the portfolio.”
