The new edition of McNae’s Essential Law for Journalists has gone on sale as the textbook marks the 60th anniversary of its first publication.

McNae’s remains the definitive guide to media law with the 22nd edition due out this month.

The new edition includes new coverage on bribery, misconduct in a public office, the new Coroners’ Rules and their impact on covering inquests, and new reporting restrictions covering preliminary hearings at magistrates courts.
