Nominations are now open for a set of awards aimed at journalists working for the Asian media in the UK.

The Asian Media Awards aim to reward the efforts of members of the Asian Media in helping to galvanise their communities and also in highlighting issues affecting race relations and human rights.

The awards ceremony takes place on Thursday 31 October at the Hilton Deansgate Manchester and partners for the event include ITV, Press Association Training and CARE International.
