Press photographer passes air ambulance training

A photographer on a daily newspaper has completed a course with the Air Ambulance designed for journalists so they can fly with them on medical emergencies.

Alan Storer, a photographer with the Peterborough Telegraph, took up East Anglian Air Ambulance’s offer of a training course for ’embedded journalists.’

The five day course included a ten-minute familiarisation flight in the air ambulance during which the pilot demonstrated a typical mission profile, including a simulated orbit of an ‘incident site’.

Alan, who chronicled his experiences of the cuorse in the Telegraph, passed with a score of 93pc.
