A new advertising director has been appointed for a group of Northcliffe-owned weeklies in the Midlands.
Andrew Robinson, currently deputy advertising director at Express and Star publisher the Midland News Association in Wolverhampton, will take up the role at Central Independent News and Media from 17 September.
The CIN stable includes the Tamworth Herald, Lichfield Mercury, Walsall Advertiser and Sutton Coldfield Observer.
Andrew replaces Richard Clay who joined Northcliffe sister title the Leicester Mercury earlier this year.
Managing director of CIN Michelle Gesell said: “I am delighted to be adding such a talented commercial operator to the business. I know that the CIN business will benefit hugely from Andrew’s wealth of industry experience.
“He has an impressive history in leading and driving teams to achieve fantastic results and I know he will make a real impact at CIN.”
