Northcliffe Digital sticks with sales team despite Trinity deal

Northcliffe Digital has retained Mediaforce Digital as national sales representatives for its online display offering despite its sister newspaper operation forming a new partnership with Trinity Mirror.

Regional publisher Northcliffe Media is joining forces with Trinity Mirror’s Regionals sales house, AMRA, to create a single sales force from April.

The move brings to an end the company’s three-year relationship with Mediaforce, but web publishing arm Northcliffe Digital is sticking with the outfit, which also represents Johnston Press, DC Thomson, Iliffe News and Media, CN Group and NWN Media.

Lee Williams, general manager of Northcliffe Digital said:  “It was a straightforward decision to expand Mediaforce’s remit in monetising our growing display proposition due to the excellent job they have done in growing revenues to date and the fact that they already act as exclusive representative for over half of the local and regional media marketplace.”
