Newspaper Society president Georgina Harvey is to speak about the future of the industry at a lunch being held in Manchester next month.

More than 100 delegates from the local media and other creative industries are expected to attend the event, organised by the Manchester Publicity Association.

Georgina, who is also managing director of Trinity Mirror Regionals, will also speak about how local media has evolved and adapted.

The MPA is a not for profit organisation which aims to champion the media, digital and film industries of Manchester, providing networking events, training programmes and education services.
