A regional publisher has launched a new monthly lifestyle magazine which has hit the newsstands this week.

South West Wales Media, which is part of Northcliffe Media, has created County Life as a new glossy title for readers in West Wales.

The magazine aims to showcase the areas of Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, and Ceredigion and will feature homes and gardens, food and drink, fashion and social events.

Rachel Jones has been appointed as editor of the new title, the first edition of which is pictured below, after previously being the fashion editor at sister magazine Swansea Life – which is read by 50,000 people a month.

She said: “The counties of Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, and Ceredigion play host to a wide variety of attractions, activities, and events, and we hope to bring our readers all that is great about living in West Wales.”

The publication was produced using the Tera publishing system, which is used by the group for all its newspaper titles, and was previously thought to not allow the flexibility needed for magazine layout.
