noSWeat Journalism Training

Are you serious about journalism? … We are.

For almost a decade we have been producing top quality journalists with graduates working on a large variety of publications including national, regional and local papers as well as numerous magazines and even broadcasting.

noSWeat journalism training is the only centre of its kind in central London. We offer the benefit of full- and part-time training on all our courses.

Our NCTJ accredited newspaper programmes are held alongside industry-geared magazine courses which include all relevant NCTJ exams. Experienced journalists tutor smaller-than-average classes in a well-equipped training centre in the heart of the capital.

What our students say

A former economics first class university graduate now working for a broadsheet national after attending noSWeat: “I saw my by-line on my 25th birthday. It was the best birthday present I could have wished for.”

A student representative on a noSWeat newspaper course now training on one of the top ten best performing regional dailies in the country emailed us to say: “Thank you for all the help you gave me during the course. I hope everything is well at noSWeat.”

A group editor on a personal finance magazine and website and former magazine noSWeater said: “I am using the skills I learned at noSWeat every day. The magazine course thought me to think on my feet and prepared me for life as a professional journalist.”

A feature writer on a weekly newspaper and former magazine noSWeater commented: “The writing skills I learned on the noSWeat magazine course have served me well. The course enables you to cross over into newspapers if that’s what you want.”

A feature writer on a national women’s magazine and former newspaper noSWeater: “The tutors were fairly strict on the course which has prepared me well for the world of journalism, even though it was hard to take at the time.”

A sub-editor on a national daily and former magazine noSWeater: “The magazine course was everything I hoped it would be. I wouldn’t have made it on to one of the most famous subs desks in the world otherwise. I always found the subbing element of the course was my main strength.”
