New Year photography exhibition goes on show

A photography exhibition chronicling the first 24 hours of each new year is now in its sixth year.

Co-founded by Archant Suffolk staff photographer Sarah Brown, 24photography sees 24 snappers each documenting one hour from the stroke of midnight on New Year’s Day.

Started in 2004, the project will run for 24 years with this year’s two exhibitions housed appropriately in Greenwich – home of GMT.

All 144 images taken so far will be on show in Greenwich Park and also the Viewfinder Photography Gallery.

They run until 19 March and are open every day of the week.

For more information about the project and exhibitions as well as directions to the venues visit 24photography.org.
