MEN relaunches property website

The Manchester Evening News is relaunching its property website thehomesmine.co.uk with a big marketing campaign now under way.

Estate agents across Greater Manchester who use MEN Media’s print titles are being offered free online listings in the new portal.

They will provide a daily feed into the updated site which now features over 22,000 properties for sale and 4,500 for rent.

The website is being publicised through a creative marketing campaign themed “We’re up your street” through the MEN, the Metro, TV station Channel M and the group’s 21 weekly titles.

Ruth Spratt, managing director of MEN Media, said “The relaunched site is practical and simple to navigate.

“Our strategy has not been to overload it with too many features and editorial but to simply allow browsers to quickly find the property they are looking for from the many thousands of homes we feature each week.”

In conjunction with the new online offering, MEN Media’s stable of weekly newspapers will carry rebranded, redesigned and relaunched Homesmine supplements.
