One-day workshop led by former MEN Media editor David Porter and News Associates course leader Ian Gilbert. David has 20 years’ experience in weekly newspapers, subbing copy and designing pages and has a wealth of insider tips to pass on. Ian was a senior layout sub with The Age, Melbourne, and has worked on the Sunday Express and Guardian.

Course held on Sunday, 1 November at News Associates, Piccadilly, Manchester. Cost £90 (£25 refundable deposit). 10am-4pm, lunch provided.
