Business title branches out to increase distribution

A North West business newspaper is branching out in its distribution model.

From 12 October, Crain’s Manchester Business will be placed via trial subscription in around 1,000 firms across the Liverpool, Warrington and Wirral areas which employ five or more people.

Crain’s publisher Arthur Porter told HTFP that the editorial content would continue to focus on the core areas of Manchester and Cheshire, and the move was not a pre-cursor to launching a brand new Crain’s title.

“We’re increasing our distribution to include Liverpool because there’s a lot interest from companies there to know what’s going on in Greater Manchester,” he said.

An extra 5,000 copies of Crain’s will also be distributed around city centre hotels during next month’s Conservative Party Conference in Manchester.
