The Nottingham Evening Post’s website is receiving nearly 320,000 unique users per month, according to new figures.

thisisnottingham.co.uk is one of ten sites owned by Northcliffe Media to undergo analysis by the electronic arm of the Audit Bureau for Circulation.

The Hull Daily Mail’s website is attracting 230,777 average unique users per month while the South Wales Evening Post gets 159,367.

It is the first time Northcliffe Media has undergone the ABCe audit process with the ten thisis sites with the largest audiences coming under the microscope.

The process, which covers April to June this year, is aimed at giving greater transparency on audience reach to advertisers.

It is set to grow to 20 sites for the period January to June 2009 with the ultimate aim of covering all major urban and regional sites in the future.

The latest audited figures follow on from Northcliffe Media and Survey Interactive’s study from earlier in the year that calculated the total de-duplicated audience reach across print and online – the first time that such data has been available to advertisers.

“These individual sites ABCe figures are the next stage of an ongoing process to provide transparency on our online reach.

“When combined with our existing audited newspaper circulations and our recent de-duplicated on/offline reach figures, we’re able to provide advertisers with a complete picture of our audience.”
