New MD for Trinity Mirror's north Wales and north-west centres

Warren Butcher has been appointed managing director for Trinity Mirror’s North Wales, Cheshire and Huddersfield centres.
He has held the post of regional advertisement director for the North West Region since 2005 and replaces John Griffith, who was recently appointed to the role of managing director of Birmingham Post and Mail Limited.


JobSite has become the official brand across all Northcliffe Media recruitment platforms. All Northcliffe newspapers and 56 thisis websites are featuring the Jobsite brand across all newspaper recruitment supplements, in paper promotions and web pages.
The deal replicates similar partnerships that Northcliffe is initiating with FindaProperty and Motors.co.uk, and is part of a wider strategy.


Prime Minister Gordon Brown has launched the new book by John Hutton which was published by Pen and Sword Ltd, the book publishing arm of The Barnsley Chronicle.
The launch of Kitchener’s Men was hosted by Defence Secretary Des Browne MP with several other ministers in attendance at the Ministry of Defence ceremony.


Trinity Mirror Interactive has added two newcomers to its fantasy games team.
Sarah Meech has joined as interactive services manager and was previously mobile commercial manager for News Group Media on The Sun and News of the World. Her remit includes responsibility for fantasy games, astrology, regional bingo and information services.
Joining Sarah is Daniel Ferdinand, also formerly of News International. Dan’s role as interactive services executive will take in the daily management of the Mirror’s fantasy games.
