Chance to win a role as a TV presenter

Gadget magazine Stuff is launching a nationwide search to find a presenter for its popular website Stuff.tv. The contest is offering one budding young star the chance to break into presenting and become part of a multimedia team.
The winner will receive a contract with the title to become its UK presenter for their online vidcasts, podcasts and shows on their interactive website and across all internal and external events. More information at stuff.tv

University College Falmouth’s groundbreaking MA in International Journalism has been recognised by the top names in the industry and is now fully accredited by the Broadcast Journalism Training Council.
BJTC secretary Jim Latham said: “The MA in International Journalism at Falmouth is a unique course. There isn’t another one like it and the industry is watching it with careful eyes. It fills a gap that has been needed for some time and the BJTC congratulates Falmouth on fulfilling that need.”


Journalism student Charlotte Denton is appearing in a glamorous reality TV show launched this week. The Staffordshire University broadcast journalism student is one of the 14 finalists selected for Britain’s Next Top Model in the hit TV reality show broadcast by Living TV.
Hopeful supermodel Charlotte was one of 100 girls from 5,000 entrants, first chosen to go through. The ultimate survivor will scoop a contract with world-renowned agency Models 1, appear on the cover of women’s glossy magazine Company and win a contract with Max Factor.
