Archant launches new 'Life' title

Local newspaper publisher Archant continues to expand its magazine division with a new glossy title.

Buckinghamshire Life is the latest to be added to Archant’s ‘Life’ stable which already has magazines for Devon, Cheshire and Yorkshire among several others.

It also has a companion website at buckinghamshirelife.co.uk.

The new Life title is edited by Clare Bourke and is being sold and distributed throughout Buckinghamshire via major outlets and promotional sampling.

It is also being promoted extensively within Archant’s other South East county magazines.

Publisher Robyn Bechelet said: “Buckinghamshire Life is for discerning, wealthy and intelligent readers who have a high disposable income.”

The first 100-page edition includes a Who’s Who 2008 feature, revealing 50 of the county’s top achievers, summer garden party fashions and idyllic picnic spots. Two further editions are planned for this year covering autumn and Christmas.

Editor Clare Bourke added: “We have been amazed by the excellent response to the new Buckinghamshire Life.

“As a Bucks resident myself, I knew there was a ready and waiting audience for a new magazine in the county but the high level of response and congratulation has still surprised me. “The magazine has been extremely well received and we are already getting good reports on copy sales.”
