Accolades for brightest new journalism talent

The magazine publishing industry has honoured its most promising up-and-coming journalists in a series of annual awards.

Caterer and Hotelkeeper’s Tom Vaughan took the overall prize in the 25th New Journalist of the Year Awards organised by the Periodicals Training Council.

The PTC’s director Loraine Davies said: “This year is a milestone for us and I am immensely proud that the PTC has been at the forefront of recognising and rewarding new talent in magazines for 25 years.”
