Hold The Front Page, the television documentary about life at the Western Morning News, is currently enjoying a second showing on UK Horizons, the satellite and cable station.

This is the first opportunity viewers outside the West Country have had to see editor Barrie Williams and his team at work in their distinctive ship-shaped offices in Plymouth.

Tune in at 8.30pm tonight to watch the latest installment. The programme follows several members of staff including young reporter Sharon Van Geuns, who later wrote a piece about her experiences on camera specially for us. To read it click here.

The six-part series was made by Plymouth-based Denham Productions and it was first shown in Carlton’s west country region in April 2000.
