Revellers to help life-saving service

A free dance music event – being backed by the Lincolnshire Echo – will help a vital life-saving service.

The newspaper has teamed up with Lincoln’s Pulse nightclub to stage the Lavish extravaganza on Sunday (Feb 13) where partygoers will be invited to make donations to the Lives First Responder Appeal.

The Echo also backed the Appeal at Christmas when more than £6,000 was raised to buy defibrillators to help resuscitate and stabilise heart attack victims in the first vital minutes after an attack.

Lincolnshire Echo Editor Mike Sassi said it was a pleasure to help such a worthy cause.

“We have been involved with Lives from its conception in 1998 and we are delighted to be able to offer our help once more,” he said.

“Our campaign was instrumental in helping Lives get off the ground, but it is important that the valuable service receives continued assistance.”
