Record bid for KM Group

The Kent Messenger Group hopes to set a new record for an evening of wine and wisdom…

Big KM Quiz is already a sell-out, with all 60 tables booked in just five weeks, making it the biggest event of its kind.

Kentish Gazette sub, Simon Dolby, of the organising committee said: “The aim is for us to cover as many of the costs of the night as we can from sponsorship to ensure we raise the maximum amount for the charities and good causes.

“We had hoped to attract 50 teams of eight by March, so to have this much support in such a short space of time is fantastic.

“Firms supporting the Big KM Quiz – for example by sponsoring individual quiz rounds with a donation – will benefit from the high profile the Kent Messenger Group is giving this event.”

Proceeds will be donated to Demelza House children’s hospice, the League of Friends of Kent and Canterbury Hospital, Canterbury Open Centre for the homeless and the Lady Mayoress of Canterbury’s Charity, which this year is supporting the Orchard School, the Advocacy Project and Whitstable Umbrella.
