One of pop music’s biggest stars is taking time out from her busy schedule to meet a young lad whose health problems were highlighted in the local press.

Myleene Klass, from Hear’Say, agreed to meet nine-year-old Jack Royall after reading about his plight in the Norwich Evening News.

Jack is recovering following major surgery to remove a brain tumour.

His dream was to meet local-girl Myleene and when the Evening News contacted the star, she was happy to oblige.

Myleene is also inviting Jack to come and watch her band perform at Wembley Arena.

She said: “I would love to meet him and I’m hoping that he will be well enough to come to the concert in September.

“I’m delighted to do what I can to help especially as it is someone from my home area. We get a lot of requests and we can’t help everyone but I would love to meet Jack.”
