Snapper's 'privilege' at sharing his career

The Peterborough Evening Telegraph’s chief photographer has given a presentation on his career.

Rowland Hobson gave the talk to the Peterborough Photographic Society and shared his experiences with other camera fanatics.

One of the topics of the talk was the change in technology during his time in the business.

When Rowland began his career on the Telegraph 23 years ago, he worked with glass slides and negatives. But now all his work is done with digital cameras.

Rowland was delighted to be able to give the talk.

He said: “I feel it’s a great privilege to share my passion for photography with local people who have the same passion – as can be seen through the high standard of work featured at the exhibition at Peterborough Museum.”
