Former Associated Newspapers man Barry Hughes has been appointed finance director of West Wiltshire Housing Society, the area’s biggest landlord.
The group manages more than 5,000 former council houses. He was previously finance director for the Evening Standard and Metro Newspapers.


Former Bristol Evening Post letters editor Robin Lloyd has died, aged 81. He was suffering from cancer.
He joined the Evening Post in 1958 under editor Richard Hawkins after growing up in India.
