The National Union of Journalists issued a statement to deplore Monday’s demonstration by British National Party members outside its London office, saying: “The union condemns all attempts by the BNP to harass and intimidate journalists and anybody else.”
The BNP said it was protesting at “anti-white bias” in the press.


Results from the latest Association of Online Publishers’ membership survey, the AOP Census, show that 82 per cent of online publishers already charge for online content or plan to charge in the next 12 months.
Display advertising remains the most important source for members, but the next most important source is now paid-for content at 13 per cent.
