It was out with the old and in with the new for the Evening News in Norwich, which this week unveiled its ‘new concept’ paper.
It greeted the New Year with a relaunch, and doubled its print run to give 65,000 free copies of its first new look edition to the city’s Bank Holiday crowds.
The move follows a year of research and planning, during which time the paper underwent a “root and branch” review, and editor David Bourn says that early indications show that the “revolutionary rather than evolutionary” change has been greeted with a hugely positive response.
