A new book taking a close look at the shaping of modern-day Droitwich has been published by the Droitwich Spa Advertiser.
It traces the personalities, events and tales that go to make up the Midlands town’s colourful past.
Droitwich Spa Memory Lane has been produced as a response to popular demand. It follows the success of a previous volume, Bromsgrove Millennium Memory Lane, which came out last year.
The latest book is the work of Christine Donnelly, the Advertiser’s deputy editor, and her husband, freelance journalist and writer Peter McMillan.
Droitwich Spa Memory Lane is available through the Advertiser’s High Street offices in Droitwich and Bromsgrove priced at £4.95.
