MEN poster blitz

The hunt for the murderer of a Manchester man has been stepped up with the help of the Manchester Evening News.

The paper has been blitzing the city with posters and leaflets in a bid to find the killer of Steven Hurst, who died six years ago.

Steven was battered to death in his Manchester home as he celebrated his 25th birthday while his mum slept upstairs.

Six people are believed to have been in the house when Steven died but a six-year wall of silence surrounding his murder has remained as they all claim not to remember what happened.

The MEN, together with Greater Manchester Police, is also offering a £20,000 reward to anyone who provides information that leads to the conviction of the killer.
