Lincs paper has a makeover

The Scunthorpe Telegraph has been given a makeover as part of the launch of a series of new features and campaigns.

It has unveiled a new look that includes a new masthead and new content.

The weekly entertainment guide, Twentyfour Seven, the football fans’ favourite Matchday supplement, the property guide and Drive pull-outs have also been redesigned to provide an improved package for readers.

New features in the paper include Telegraph People – a daily page celebrating the lives and achievements of our readers – a new health page and updated TV listings.

Readers will have more chance to have their say on issues facing the area as the number of Viewpoint pages has been doubled and the paper will be printing more letters.

Editor Jon Grubb said: “The Telegraph’s strength has always been the relationship we have with our readers.

“It is important that the newspaper builds on its existing strengths and embraces this changing face of the North Lincolnshire.

“The new look Telegraph does both these things. It will be brighter and more colourful the ever before. It will campaign harder and inform in more depth.”

The new look paper is on sale from today.
