A campaign to help readers get into shape kicks off in the Grimsby Telegraph this month.

It is launching a new supplement, Life, full of news, views and advice on every aspect of living a healthier life – and living a fun life too.

Readers are being asked to team up with the paper and local health clubs to follow a keep-fit programme and be featured on the pages of the supplement.

The programme involves diet, exercise and makeovers for those selected.

Dean Hurley, manager of the Figure Factory, in Scunthorpe, one of the clubs involved, urged Telegraph readers to take part.

“A lot of people come along and attend a couple of times and then you do not see them again for a month – that is no good,” he said.

“For the programme to work, the person needs to come regularly, carry it out fully and keep it up.”
